Lyon County Museum moving to new home |

The Lyon County Museum will have a new home that isn't new, just different.
The museum will move in January to the former Bridal Impressions retail space on Main Street in Marshall's downtown, director Ellayne Conyers said.
"I'm very happy about this," Conyers said.
The museum is in a building on 3rd Street owned by the Knights of Columbus and has a month-to-month lease, Conyers said.
Conyers has wanted a new, more permanent location for the museum and that effort was enhanced in 2008 when the K of C increased rent, she said.
A search for a permanent location won't stop Conyers, and museum board member Kathy Lozinski said it will take a few years before the needed money is raised.
